February 6 - 8, 2026.  Mt Evelyn Discovery Camp

Accommodation
Mt Evelyn Discovery Camp offers air-conditioned family bunk rooms. Each family will have their own room.  Bathroom facilities are shared between a few families. There is a central lounge and dining area.

Food
All meals are communal and included in the camp weekend  We use Diamond Blue Catering, who provide delicious, generously-portioned meals and cater for all dietary requirements.  Warm and cold drinks, fruit and snacks are available in between meals.
We ask all families to bring something for morning and afternoon tea to share, such as  a cake, cheese and crackers, etc

Activities
The weekend program includes an evening campfire, giant swing, swimming pool,  games with parents and kids together, clergy talks, Saturday evening vespers and Sunday Liturgy.

Who is the camp for?
The camp is a chance for our  young parish families to socialise and strengthen their ties.  Families from our neighbouring Orthodox parishes are also warmly welcomed.  The camp is especially suitable for pre-school and primary school children and their parents, with activities also on offer for teens.

Volunteers
The camp is organised and run by volunteers from the parish.  There is always room for extra hands to run activities or help in the kitchen either for all or for part of the camp.  If you are interested in helping out, contact:  [email protected]

Cost
Full camp (Friday to Sunday): Adult $170, Child 12 & under $145
Saturday to Sunday (1 night): Adult $155, Child 12 & under $130
